Corsica Sale Barn
Established in 1907, the Corsica Sale Barn has been a gathering place for the livestock industry for more than a century. Now under new management in 2026, we’re building on that legacy with a renewed vision and one simple goal:
To make Corsica great again for this generation and the next.
For generations, the Corsica Sale Barn has been more than just a place to buy and sell livestock. It’s been a gathering point, a meeting ground, and a cornerstone of the regional horse industry. Long before online bidding and social media, horsemen and horsewomen loaded up their trailers and pointed them toward Corsica, South Dakota, knowing that if you wanted good horses and good people, this was the place to be.
At its peak, the Corsica Sale Barn drew consignors and buyers from across the region and beyond. It was a place where programs were built, partnerships were formed, and countless horses found their next chapter. The sale barn wasn’t just a marketplace. It was an event, a tradition, and for many, a monthly ritual.
Like many great institutions, time and change eventually took their toll. But today, the Corsica Sale Barn is under new management, and with that comes a renewed vision, a fresh energy, and a deep respect for what this place has always meant to the horse industry.
We are proud to be breathing new life into this historic facility — revamping operations, raising standards, and building something that honors the past while moving boldly into the future. Our motto is “Make Corsica Great Again.” And we mean it.
Our goal is simple: to restore Corsica to its rightful place as one of the premier horse sale destinations in the region. A place where quality horses, honest business, and a great sale-day atmosphere come together once again. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or stepping through our doors for the first time, you’re part of the next chapter of a legacy that’s been decades in the making.
The tradition is back. The momentum is building. And Corsica is on the rise again.
Driven by passion with a clear vision.
